Blue Moon is a purebred Pit Bull. She is 2 years old and is
completely deaf and has vision impairments. She has been to our shelter before
and the owner always came and got her, and then this last time we were told
by the owner to keep her. She was deemed unpredictable because she gets
scared easily if she doesn't know what is going on. She doesn't like all
other dogs, she has played with dogs that are smaller and more submissive but
large dogs that get in her face scare her and she snaps. She also does not
like hats. I have been working with her since she came in January, and she
has come a very long way. Her new family would need to patient and
understanding of her disabilities and understand that even though she is deaf
she still has all the love in the world to give. Blue
Moon is on the list for euthanasia on June 6. |
