I
am a Canadian living for the winter in San Miguel de Allende Mexico where I volunteer
in an animal shelter. A new arrival is clearly part Dalmatian and deaf. She
has likely been traumatized and displays aggressive behavior to Mexicans and
other dogs. All in all even with socialization which is in progress now she
is not a good candidate for adoption in Mexico. We
have heard of breed rescue organizations that have taken dogs that have
strong characteristics of the breed but are not purebred. I have contacted a
Dalmatian rescue organization in Canada and they suggested I look in the US
closer to Mexico. Through a website they sent me I came across your organization. I
am wondering if your organization can help "Dotty" or if you can
make other recommendations |
