Mervis is
a 3 years old deaf Bassett Hound/Pitbull mix. He
loves being with his human
and will follow you around the house like a shadow. He is a really quick learner,
too. He learned the signs for sit, stay, come, no, and kisses within a few
weeks. He loves to play
with dogs his own size, but is a bit too strong for smaller dogs. He would
not be good
with toddlers/small kids and cats. He enjoys long walks and runs. He LOVES LOVES
LOVES to play fetch with his tennis ball and chew
on his rope toys or a kong.
He needs a strong human, preferably one with pittie
experience. He would really benefit
from a fenced backyard because he likes to be outside. When he is tired out,
he loves his
crate, especially when covered with a blanket, or sheet, making it feels like
a cave. He is
also Mindy's best
friend, so if they could be adopted together, it would be ideal.
Mervis is neutered and heartworm negative..
