Mindy
(left pic) came to us from the Fulton County Shelter. The family
who originally adopted her, took her to the Towne and County East Vet to be
spayed. The vet told the family that she was deaf and the family decided they
didn’t want her. They took her back to the shelter. The vet technician heard
about it and was upset. She decided to contact Deaf Paws Haven. Mindy is now
about 3 years old. She is fine with male dogs, not female dogs because she is
an Alpha female. She is
great with her best friend, Mervis, a deaf pitbull/bassett mix. We would
love to have Mindy and Mervis adopted together.
