Myah is a beautiful white deaf rescued American
Bulldog. She was born in July 2007 and weighs about 55 pounds. I'm having to
downsize from my home to a city apartment due to health reasons and need to
find homes for my 3 dogs. I have taught her a little sign language & she
absolutely adores kids & people, but should go to a home without small
children just because she is deaf and does not do well with small kids in her
face when she has food or a bone. She is a big house pet, potty trained, okay
with cats, and ok with male dogs, but does not always do well around other
female dogs. Myah is thrilled to get to watch TV
with her owner and will sit in her special chair & never get up unless
she's asked to. She's house trained/ potty trained, has "never"
messed in my house for no reason... not even accidentally. She absolutely
LOVES kids & is happy and at her best when she is around kids. She's not
a chewer in any fashion, but she sure loves her chew bones. She does kill
snakes & other critters that are in the yard or near the pond, so if you
see her digging, she's trying to kill an unwanted critter. She rides great,
never car sick, but excited when she gets to go with me. She loves to travel
everywhere I go, loves her veterinarian to pieces, doesn't know a stranger
and will wag her tail every time a person comes up to her. She's a good
watchdog (doesn't "hear" at all, but feels vibrations and smells
ten times better than any dog I've seen. So, if she barks, there is a reason
for it. If she notices it's someone familiar, she won't bark anymore!
Absolutely a wonderful pet to have and a wonderful buddy as she loves
attention and is pleased just to be loved! You will not regret welcoming this
dog into your home! A FENCE is a MUST for Myah as
she doesn't hear vehicles, so a FENCE will keep her safe! But raising her
indoors and having a FENCE so she can go outdoors is a plus! She is housetrained and spayed.
