Pinkie

Urgent: 7/30/11

Breed:  Boxer

Age/Sex:  5 mo/Female

A friend of our family and his wife are adopting 2 children (4 and 5) and simply don't have the inside space for little “Pinkie”.  She is a 5 month old purebred female boxer, not spayed; & she is deaf.   Her parents are AKC registered, but they won't register white boxers; if this is an issue the CKC will register her when she turns 6 months old.  She is somewhat housetrained, but she is still young so she needs to go out every couple hours. She is good in the crate, up to date on all vaccinations, on HW preventative, loves other dogs (not sure about cats-they don't have any), loves children, and walks very well on a leash.  They have been teaching her hand signals and say they don't come any sweeter than Pinkie.

With some further training and the attention that she so deserves, Pinkie will be a wonderful addition for the right family!  They are asking for a $100 adoption fee (knowing what might happen by just "giving her away" to someone) and are being selective with all inquiries.  I am offering to cover the $100 adoption fee and the cost of her spay for a reputable rescue or adopter to step up.  I am also willing to personally transport her as far west as TX and as far east as FL.  Time is of the essence as well...the adoption process for the children went much more quickly than they'd expected and will have them next week.

If you know someone who can foster Pinkie as immediate assistance, I will continue to network her to find a furever home! !

She is in Holden, Louisiana (about 30 miles east of Baton Rouge).
