Helen

Urgent: 8/2/11

Breed:  Australian Shepherd

Age/Sex:  1 yr/Female

Helen is an Australian Sheppard about 1 yr old, spayed female. She was born deaf and blind. She can see some light but not much. Helen has no idea she is deaf or blind. She uses her paws, mouth, and smell as her senses. She is the most wonderful girl, but unfortunately we have had no luck in adopting her due to her disabilities. Helen is very well taken care of by the volunteers, but seems that she is overlooked each time by any future adopting families. She did very well in a foster home but has been living in a cage for the last couple of months. We truly hope to find her a loving home.

We have a double merle Australian Shepherd. She is blind and deaf, less than a year, spayed female. She did very well in foster and was learning touch commands. Her foster family had to return her to us due to personal reasons. She is so bright and sweet, but now just living in a cage in a barn we rent a section of. She gets daily hands on attention, but nothing like she needs - in a home. She's pretty well housebroken and only has accidents when we are late getting there to take her out. We really need to find her a good home, foster or forever.
