Petey was dumped at the shelter in Jackonville
shortly after the ad below was posted on Craig’s List. He need to find
safely asap. He has a black
eye and black spots. He is very friendly with people and playful with other
dogs. He was a stray that a friend of mine picked up and I have been
fostering him for a week looking for his owner, but I need to find him a
forever home because I don't have the time, energy, or space for another dog.
His voice box sounds like it is damaged and he is 100% deaf. I would guess
that he is less than a year old because he is very puppy-like and I’d
guess he weighs about 70 lbs with growing room. He needs to go to someone who
will appreciate and accommodate his handicaps and be RESPONSIBLE with him.
Must have knowledge of the breed, references required. While picking up a blind poodle today from Jax
AC we went to visit Petey. Sweet does not begin to
describe this boy, he showered us with wet doggy kisses and he must have
thought we were there to rescue him he just could not stop wagging his tail.
My heart broke when I had to leave him. But we have no fosters that will take
a large dog. He is also not a Pit Mix has described in the CL Post he is
a Dal mix He's young, handsome and a lover of people. |
