Poet	Breed: Australian Shepherd
	Age/Sex: 6 mo/Male
	Poet is a 6 month old Australian Shepherd. He is up to date on shots, neutered and heartworm negative. Poet is also housebroken (he has not had a single accident in the house!) and crate trained. Poet is what is known as a "Lethal White", the result of breeding two merles together, which often produces deaf, blind or deaf AND blind puppies. Poet appears to see quite well, but we know he is deaf. He is very gentle and sweet, loving as all get out! He LOVES cuddles. He also loves other dogs, but is a little rough in his puppy play with small ones. He is teething, so he will need to be watched. Due to his deafness, Poet will need an owner who can work with him and teach him hand signals. He learns these very quickly, as he is a very smart pup. He also needs sunscreen on his little pink nose to avoid burn.
