Wizzard ARPH
#11816 This
handsome young man was born mid Oct/09. Wizzard,
along with his sister Bindi, were
rescued from the parking lot of Walmart in Nov. by
someone who was just walking by. The young lady contacted rescue... this is
where the adventure began. Bindi and Wizzard made the trip to Ottawa where they enjoyed life for a few days
before Bindi continued her trip to live in her new
foster home in the Toronto area.
Wizzard has been doing very well living without his
sister. Wizzard has been going to his foster home's
place of work everyday. He has been a star when going to work. Every day he
meets 100's of people (including small children) and other dogs. Wizzard has done well meeting and greeting all of these
people. He is playful with them when he is on the ground but the minute
someone picks him up he becomes the biggest cuddle~bug
ever. He loves people... big and small. His cute little nub never stops
wiggling.
Pinball has already learned the hand signal for 'sit' and 'here'..working on 'down'. Why, you
are wondering, has he learned the signals for these commands? It is because
he is deaf. Wizzard is the result of a merle to
merle breeding. Breeding two merles ends up producing appx
25% of the pups being deaf, blind or a combination of both.
Wizzard is a quick learner and would make a
wonderful addition to a home that is looking for a dog that loves people.
Meeting people, playing with people and just being around people.
